Throughout this three-day event, Fungus Festival attendees have opportunities to learn more about local mushrooms, participate in art & handcraft workshops, and celebrate the Fish-Fungus-Forest connection

The festival includes 3 guided forays, an identification table, expert keynote speakers, art workshops, fungus classes, kids' activities, and more.

Details you should know…

Fungus Festival is right around the corner and for all you registrants out there, here's some info you should know!

Festival headquarters will be located at the Cordova Center. This is where you will find the keynote presentation, mushroom 101 class, meeting location for the forays, and other events.

Welcome Table times and location:

-Thursday the 12th, 1-4 pm at the Visitor Center (Chamber Office)

-Friday the 13th, 10-2 pm at the Visitor Center (Chamber Office)

-Saturday the 14th, 9 am-6 pm at the Cordova Center

-Sunday the 15th, 9 am-3 pm at the Cordova Center

Registrants may check in and pick up their welcome packet (and, if purchased, fungus feast ticket) from the welcome table at any of the times listed above.

Your group is entitled to a 5% discount off Alaska Airlines published fares (except companion and other promotional fares). 

  • You may book and ticket on the blackout dates but no discount will apply.

-Having a conversation with a local and learning about their life here

-Visiting the Cultural Center and educating yourself about the land you are visiting
